It'll be a great place to be on a winter's evening!

Admission of $80 gets you one entry into the Calcutta, and we'll include dinner for two as well.

Proceeds from the event go to our dragon boat club's equipment fund to cover things like starter paddles and PFDs, boat purchase and repairs, trailer upgrades and upkeep, and equipment shed maintenance.

Never been to a Calcutta? Participants are assigned numbers 1 through 100. 100 numbered balls are drawn one by one, eliminating people from the raffle. (Small prizes are awarded every few numbers.) When we get down to ten numbers, those left standing decide as a group whether to split the $1200 jackpot or keep drawing. When we get down to the last number, or to a group that wants to split the jackpot, it's awarded!

There are a few other fun twists as well, but those are the basics. It's big fun, and we'd love it if you could join us.
