Climate Action Event at NBNC - Childcare/Dinner Provided

Past event
Jan 19, 2018, 5:30 to 7:30 PM

Hello fellow parents!

We are a group of parents, and we meet monthly at the North Branch Nature Center to discuss the impact of Climate change on our world, state, communities, and the future of our children. We find ways to make our voices heard, and we also build community through a shared meal, a gratitude circle, and personal stories. And, we laugh a lot! Active hope is our chosen way of moving forward, beyond denial and despair.

Please consider joining us next Friday, January 19, at the North Branch Nature Center for our January gathering. 5:30-7:30pm.

Dinner will be provided from 5:30 to 6pm for kids and adults. Your children will be in great hands doing a nature themed craft/activity while you get to meet one or more of our representatives to discuss their perspective on climate change, and what they can do in the state house to represent all of us who want the State to take bold action. Given all the climate related disasters that are piling up everywhere, denial, and status quo are not really an option.

Email me if you would like to come, or if you would like to stay informed, and join the Mother Up! movement with your family. We are stronger together.
