PUBLIC HEARING

ALBURGH LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS

Scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
at the Alburgh Town Office

Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Town of Alburgh, Vermont that the Alburgh Selectboard will hold a hearing on January 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alburgh Town Office to consider for adoption of the proposed Alburgh Land Use and Development Regulations pursuant to Chapter 117 of Title 24, §4384 and §4441 V.S.A. The purpose of these regulations is to provide for orderly community growth, to further the purposes established in §4302 of the Act, and to implement the Alburgh Town Plan.

This draft proposed regulations includes eight general sections: Authority and Purpose; Zoning Districts: Regulations for Structures; Regulations for Uses; Permit Review Procedures; Pre-Existing Development Not in Conformance with these Regulations; Administration; and Definitions. A full report outlining the intent of the proposed regulations, and the full text of the proposed regulations, are available at the Alburgh Town Clerk’s Office.
