Professional Opera singer, founder of Opera Brittenica (Boston, MA) and BARN OPERA (Brandon, VT) and new Brandon resident Joshua Collier is offering a 3 class series of basic musicianship with limited seating, on Monday evenings for 3 weeks, starting January 22nd, at Brandon Music (62 Country Club Rd. Brandon). These classes will be geared toward the very beginner and will explore the structural reasons why music sounds the way it sounds, and how your favorite songs are constructed. This is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills for your church choir, your band, or just to enable a deeper understanding of music, all in your back yard!

*Rhythm
*Key Signatures
*Time Signatures
*Chord Structure
*Harmonic Structure
*Sight Singing/reading

Each class will cost $20 per person for 2.5 hours, and each student should be prepared to pay for the entire series in advance (Total $60), to assure attendance, and to cover hand outs, printing, and other materials.
