Singing Workshop: Harmonies from Around the World

Join us for a day of fun, powerful, spine-tingling, and heartfelt harmony singing. Heidi and Avery will be teaching songs from Sweden, the Republic of Georgia, Sardinia, Scotland, North America, as well as some of Heidi’s original compositions.

Heidi is a singer-songwriter with a passion for sharing songs inspired by and in service to community and the wild world. Avery has traveled and studied in Sardinia, Georgia, and the British Isles. They are long time collaborators, teaching harmony singing at the Summit School of Traditional Music and Culture, working with teenagers in Village Harmony, and are co-founders and co-directors of the Central Vermont Solidarity Singers. They have a dynamic, warm, and highly collaborative teaching style with an emphasis on community building, supportive risk-taking, and creative pedagogy.

The workshop is open to all interested singers and costs $40-75* sliding scale. Please bring a simple potluck dish to share for lunch.
