In the summer of 2017, Lise Erickson spent two weeks in Iceland and the Faroe Islands. It was her second trip to Iceland, and between the two visits, she has explored and photographed the capital Reykjavik, the southern coast, and western Iceland. The Faroe Islands are an archipelago of islands in the North Atlantic, between Iceland and Norway. A part of the Kingdom of Denmark, the Faroe Islands are largely autonomous. Lise explored the Faroe Islands from the base of the capital city of Torshavn.
Lise will share photographs of her summer travels to these far northern regions at the Craftsbury Public Library. Her presentation will take place on Sunday, January 21, at 7PM. For more information regarding this presentation, contact the library at 586-9683 or craftsburylibrary@gmail.com.
