The Colchester Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce a NEW winter event coming up this February. The Balaclava Blitz is a sprint triathlon consisting of 3K running, 5.6K biking, and 5K freestyle Nordic skiing around the upper Bayside Park area. Don’t have a fat tire bike for racing in the snow? Consider a duathlon of run/ski/run!

Racers must be 16 years of age or older. All racers receive overall finish time and refreshments. The course will be for all abilities and will have directional signage throughout. Registration is available online via Active.com, or complete a paper registration form and return to the Colchester Parks & Recreation office.

$45 for triathlon | $35 for duathlon Race starts at 9:00 AM. Check in begins at 7:30 AM.
