Transition Town Charlotte (TTC) is initiating “Transition Second Tuesdays: Green Drinks Nights” at the Hinesburgh Public House, tomorrow night, January 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m in the community room. On this first gathering we’ll watch a great, 25-minute video that explains about the Transition Movement and inspires us all to think creatively and perhaps initiate a Transition Town Hinesburg. The Transition Movement is comprised of vibrant, grassroots community initiatives that seek to build community resilience in the face of such challenges as peak oil, climate change and the economic crisis. Knowing that there are many people already doing good work in both communities, this will be a chance to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and see where we may grow together.
