Hi there,
My name is Avery Bliss, with Habitat for Humanity, located in Williston. As a part of my service year, I am running a food drive on Martin Luther King Day from 12-4 pm, and I have decided to hold it in Jericho. I grew up right in Jericho Center, so the location seemed like the perfect fit.

The food drive will be run from 12 pm to 4 pm on January 15th. I am hoping to have it in the Jericho Community Center, and will let you know for sure once I have confirmation. In the meantime, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Williston will be accepting donations from January 12-14, where if you donate 5 cans of food, you will receive 20% off of your order.

I will be there with several volunteers to collect, and to chat with anyone who would like to talk. Afterwards, the food will be brought to the Williston Community Food Shelf.

I believe this is just the tip of what I can do to give back to my community, and to support other, neighboring towns. So if you've got any cans and/or non-perishable food items to spare, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring them by.
