Burlington Democratic Party Nominating Caucus

Past event
Jan 7, 2018, 3:30 to 6:30 PM

On Sunday, January 7th, The Burlington Democratic Party will be holding our city-wide Mayoral & Ward Nominating Caucus to select candidates for the next Town Meeting Day elections in early March. At this caucus, we will be nominating a mayoral candidate, candidates for city council, and inspector of elections for all eight wards. This year we will be holding the caucus at Burlington High School. Registration will be from 3:30-4:30 in the main lobby and you must register for the Caucus in order to participate in any of the day’s votes.

The specific ward nominating caucuses will occur first, followed by the Mayoral caucus and then a community dinner. Parking will be available at Burlington High School in both lots.

If you find both lots are full we will have parking available at the North Alliance Church with a shuttle to take you to the high school. The North Alliance Church is just north of BHS at 901 North Ave. If you’re driving north on North Ave., you would take a left at the first light you see after the high school.

Childcare will also be available at Burlington High School. Look for information when you enter the lobby.

For a detailed schedule and list of candidates, check out the caucus page on our website:
