Greetings.
Materials for the upcoming Planning Commission meeting--which is set for January 11--are now available. A digital version of the meeting packet has been posted online at https://goo.gl/Oh9xN6.
Much of the discussion at the meeting will focus on matters relating to the updating of Shelburne's Comprehensive Plan. State law requires cities and towns to update their Comprehensive Plans; if the plans are not updated, they expire.
Graphic designer Maja Smith (a Shelburne resident) has been invited to speak about work she completed for the Town of Essex when that community updated its plan. The document Maja helped design was selected as Vermont's 2016 municipal “Plan of the Year”.
