David Moats, author and Pulitzer Prize editor from the Rutland Herald is the moderator. Panelists Mike Donoghue, Executive Director, Vermont Press Association, Lia Ernst, ACLU Staff Attorney, and Peter Teachout, Vermont Law School Professor will explore First Amendment principles and how constitutional freedoms can be protected.

This is the third in a series of discussions on the First Amendment. Future discussions will address the freedoms of religion and petitioning the government.
