We were scheduled to have our first League of Women Voters of the NEK meeting of 2018 this coming SUNDAY, JANUARY 7th FROM 3:30 TO 5:00 p.m. at the UNITED COMMUNITY CHURCH NORTH parlor in ST. JOHNSBURY on MAIN STREET.

BUT, DUE TO PREDICTED EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS, THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

However, If you are passionate (or even if you are just mildly interested) about working on a project, for instance, re: Town Meeting Day, or Ranked Choice Voting, please let me know what your interest is when you respond to this email.

Please note, that the LEAGUE of WOMEN VOTERS meetings and membership is open to all people, even though "WOMEN" is in the name of the organization. The League of women Voters has it's origins in the women's suffragist movement in 1920. It is non-partisan promoting voting, voting rights and issues concerning us American People . The League does not support specific candidates running for public office.

Also, the LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF VT is having a very timely brainstorming meeting on January 13th about working with other organizations. Here's the info:
