Please join the Lanpher Memorial Library and Lamoille Home Health and Hospice for a Community Health Talk at Sterling View Community Center on Monday January 8th at 12:00. The topic is: Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). A light lunch will be provided.
The exact cause of SAD is unknown. Contributing factors can vary from person to person. However, people who live in parts of the country that have long winter nights and less sunlight (like Vermont) are more likely to experience the condition. In this presentation, Lamoille Home Health and Hospice speaker, Mary Collins, will review the common triggers for Seasonal Affective disorder and provide helpful tips and resources for combating its effects.
There is no charge for the talk, or the lunch.
Please direct any questions to Mary at Lamoille Home Health and Hospice: 888-4651 or to Amy at the Lanpher Memorial Library: 888-4628
The series continues on Monday, February 12th: Falls Prevention
