A LANDOWNER FORUM ON THE GAS PIPELINE
at the Leicester Meeting House, 19 Schoolhouse Rd, Leicester, VT 05733

During Phase 1 of the Addison/Rutland Gas Pipeline Project, a number of landowners and community members gained experience and insight into how Canadian-owned VT Gas Systems operates, negotiates contracts, secures easements, observes (or fails to observe) safety regulations, and other issues associated with this pipeline.  They also became very familiar with the procedures required by the state's regulatory agencies, particularly in regard to property owners' rights and eminent domain.

With a wealth of factual and documented information, these landowners seek to inform communities so people can protect their rights and make sound decisions when confronted with Vermont Gas Systems or the Vermont state regulatory process.
