"Now Is The Time: Healthcare for Everyone", the second film by Laurie Simons and Terry Sterrenberg of Driving for Universal Healthcare will be shown Sun., January 7th at 2pm at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington.

Their first film compared the US and Canadian health systems. This 2nd film takes a closer look at the US system, including efforts for reform in Vermont.

Dr. Anna Carey of PNHP from Cambridge, VT will lead the discussion. Dr Carey’s special interests are diabetes, geriatrics, mental health and health care reform. In the past she has chaired the VT Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program. She enjoys hearing from folks of their healthcare stories.

The League of Women Voters has arranged the showing of this movie with the support of other PNHP members.
