Happy New Year everyone!!
We would like to invite you to our Jnauray 4th Reception to celebrate these three exceptional artists; Mike Byers, Arlene Jarvis and Ann Levy. Fun starts at 4:30 and goes to 7:00 with food drink and discussion of the art being featured. Please come!
Mike Byers creates decorative concrete countertops, fireplace surrounds, stair treads, and tables. The high-performance concrete is specially mixed and polished to a silky smooth texture. In addition to a wide range of colors, inlays are often placed into the concrete. Mike is one of January’s featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Arlene Jarvis creates intricate, unique beadwork jewelry. Her one-of-a-kind work reflects a creative style and her talent is evident in the artistic and elegant pieces and sets. Her jewelry includes headpieces, collar necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pendants, and each is beautifully ornate. Arlene is one of January’s featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery, St. Albans, VT.
Ann Levy A weaving class at Shelburne Craft School many years ago gave Ann Levy new intellectual challenges and the opportunity to work with her hands. Over the years she has continued to learn about weaving techniques, various loom styles, traditional and non-traditional materials, historical and global traditions, and contemporary computer applications. Ann is one of January's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
