Blood Drive

Thank you for your past participation at our blood drives at the Ferrisburgh Town Hall. Due to scheduling conflicts, the drive this January will not be at the Town Hall but instead will be held at the Vergennes American Legion on 100 Armory Lane. We haven’t had a blood drive at the Legion in a while and we’re really looking forward to seeing all of our “regulars” as well as those we haven’t seen in some time.
At this time of year, donations often decline as folks are busy with the holidays. But patients in need of blood don't get to take a holiday.
Your generosity during this critical collection period goes a long way toward helping us keep a stable blood supply for patients in need. It's the blood on the shelves today that saves lives in the event of an emergency or a natural disaster. And unexpected inclement weather can result in hundreds of un-collected pints of blood. With that in mind, we're asking for your help to keep the blood supply stable during this unpredictable time of year.
Please SIGN UP TODAY to donate at Vergennes American Legion on Wed., 1/10. We’ll be there from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm. There are plenty of open appointments throughout the day and no wait times expected.
In appreciation, all presenting donors will receive a $5 Dunkin’ gift card.

P.S. Have you considered doing a Power Red donation? If you're 0+, 0-, A- or B-, you might be eligible. It takes about 20 minutes longer but collects TWICE the amount of red cells, allowing you to make TWICE the difference. Ask us about it at the drive.
