On January 6th the Williston Boy Scouts will be picking up Christmas trees curbside in the following areas: Southridge, Brennan Woods, Wildflower Circle, Old Stage Estates, Ledgewood, Pleasant Acres, Golf Links, Turtle Pond, Indian Ridge, Meadowridge, Chelsea Commons, Sunrise Drive, Southfield Drive, Oneida Acres, Meadow Run, Eastview Circle, Hillside Drive, Lamplight Lane, Tower Lane, Timothy Way, Stirrup Circle, Bittersweet Circle and Finney Crossing neighborhoods. Trees should be placed curbside by 9:30 am. This is the Scout's biggest fundraiser of the year. A suggested donation of $10 can be placed in an envelope tied to the tree (or more if you'd like to help fuel the Scout's general fund that sustains troop activities and community service projects throughout the year). If possible, please wait until the morning to attach your donation to the tree. Checks are preferred and can be made out to Troop 692. If you live outside of the pick-up neighborhoods we might be able to schedule a pick-up for a $20 fee. The trees are recycled and used for fuel and/or composting based on the needs of CSWD.
