Navajo jewelry made by the resisters at Big Mountain/Black Mesa who have been under constant government threat & harassment. As Peabody Coal stripmines their ancestral homes, resisters to relocation have few means of bringing in financial support. These pieces have been collected by the grandmothers out there over the last 17 years of their struggle.
