All are welcome to celebrate the coming of the Christ Child at St. James' Episcopal Church, Arlington, on December 24 with two services on Christmas Eve. At 9AM, the Fourth Sunday of Advent will be observed with the liturgy of Holy Eucharist and the lighting of all four candles on the Advent Wreath symbolizing that the Savior of the World is near. At 5PM, join us for a joyous Christmas Eve service of the liturgy of the Holy Eucharist including the lighting of the Christ Candle and the children's procession with the Baby Jesus to the creche. Music, under the direction of Gail Albright, includes anthems by the adult Christmas Choir and the children's choir, hymns and carols, violin selections by Maya Drummond, and congregational singing.
