The Group meets on the first and third Wednesdays each month, from 2-5 pm and again from 6-9 pm at Valley Arts Festival Gallery. Artists can come to one session or both, with a one-hour break for dinner.
Bring your drawing/painting materials and easel. We have several table easels for small artwork if you want to work seated at a table. Feel free to bring food and drink, too. BYOB is fine!.
On December 20th, Gary invites all, during the 6-9 session, who care to join in, to use only three colors of paint – oils, watercolor or acrylics (no pastels) – for a lesson in color. The only colors we’ll use are cobalt or ultramarine blue, burnt sienna or brown madder, and cadmium or lemon yellow. Should be interesting and instructive!
The fee is $5 for each session for Valley Arts members, $10 per session for non-members. Pay on arrival.
