9th Annual Chili Festival

Come join the NorShaft Lions for this wonderful community events. There will be over 25 Chilies to sample from traditional beef (hot, medium, and mild) to chicken, turkey, sausage, venison, moose, white chili, vegetarian, and even a chocolate dessert chili. And then if you need something sweet the Girl Scouts will be selling cookies and treats. The event takes place at St. John the Baptist Community Room (this year expanding to two floors to accommodate our supportive crowds), The Chili Festival is part of the North Bennington Winter Festival, whcih starts with a pancake breakfast at Lake Paran, followed by the Paran Plunge. A tractor ride will take you to all the venues in the Village, including story time at the Library, snowman making (with or without snow} at Park McCullough House, the children's Indoor Carnival at the Village School, crafts at the South Shire School, a solar power exhibit and electric car demo, massages and more at the Left Bank, spirtis tasting at Powers Market...and more. Mark your calendar...come for the Chili and spend the day.
