Join us at Vergennes Congregational Church this Sunday for our second annual Christmas Pageant inspired by Las Posadas, the Mexican festival tradition of re-enacting Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem! Carrying lanterns and poinsettias, the congregation processes through the church to act out the Holy Couple's attempts to find shelter. Our pageant includes placing gifts of warm winter clothing near the manger as our offering to Christ and our neighbor, and is followed by a piñata party for the children. Clothing donations go to Refugee Resettlement.
