Gun Violence Vigil at 6PM on Monday, 12/11 at Charlotte Congregational Church - It has been five years since the terrible killings of the school children the Sandy Hook School in Newtown CT. Since then, there are have been hundreds of mass shootings in the United States. In response to this continued violence, the Charlotte Congregational Church will hold a vigil on Monday, December 11 at 6:00 PM in the church sanctuary. We will begin with 45 minutes of quiet prayer followed at 6:45 by group prayer and reflections. We will end by offering lights to shine through the night in front of the church (403 Church Hill Rd.) that will serve as a witness to both the reality of gun violence and our resistance to it. facebook event details are here: facebook.com/events/747815595422989/
