The annual free Christmas tree pick up in Burlington is scheduled for January 6, 2014 beginning at 7:00 AM! Please place your tree on the green belt. Only completely bare trees will be accepted - no tinsel or decorations, no wreaths or garlands and no artificial trees. Your tree gets turned into fuel at the McNeil Generating Plant. Provided by Burlington Public Works and Parks & Recreation Departments.
