The Onion River Chorus celebrates a warm Christmas with 17th century music from Mexico and Bolivia on Saturday, Dec. 16 7:30 pm, and Sunday, December 17, 4:00 pm at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier, 130 Main St.. This is music that is all but unknown in the United States, but speaks in a language we can all understand: music that is, in Abraham Lincoln's words, "of the people, by the people, for the people." Directed by guest conductor Richard Riley, the Onion River Chorus is joined for this concert by soprano Lindsey Warren, tenor Adam Hall, guitarist Daniel Gaviria and organist Lynnette Combs. Admission at the door: $15 for adults, $12 for students & seniors.
