This documentary highlights national and state-level efforts to bring Single Payer Health Care to America. It is a “…Call to (continue) Action…”!
Some obstacles are obvious (Big Money, Fear of Government, etc.), but polls indicate 58% of the general public support the idea of Universal Healthcare. “…some of us want to look after each other…”
Vermont’s Worker Center “Health Care is a Human Right” campaign is identified as the inspiration for other states to follow. Senator Sanders and “Dr. Deb” Richter, two Vermont long-term champions of Universal Health Care/Medicare for All, are featured in this movie.
Vermont currently has two bills (S 53, and H 248) that call for “Universal Publicly Financed Primary Health Car for All Vermonters”. There will only be time for a brief discussion, but we hope this video inspires you to actively support the passage of these bills for Vermont. Information and Resources will be available.
