Nuclear Danger and Holiday Hope

Past event
Dec 10, 2017, 2 to 3:30 PM

It's almost Christmas, yet the nuclear arms race is heating up again, putting at risk everything we love. What a greater gift can we give one another than caring about our survival? Come share holiday cheer and learn why it is so important that the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize went to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. Join us on Sunday, December 10, Human Rights Day, at the Fletcher Free Library at 2pm, to include hearing the Nobel acceptance speech and discussion led by John Reuwer of Physicians for Social Responsibility. Also sponsored by Women's Int. League for Peace & Freedom.
