We are looking for children who love to play and explore outside and learn about the natural world. There are still a few openings in our Forest School program for 6 to 8 year olds. We take only 10 students! Please let your friends and family members know about this wonderful opportunity to learn outdoors through the seasons!
Forest School
The Forest School is an outdoor-based early education program for students aged 3.5 to 7 years old. The Forest School’s mission is to provide enriching learning experiences in nature. We are guided by the belief that children should spend a large portion of the day outside, use the natural environment as our classroom, engage students with “hands-on” experiential education, and celebrate and capitalize on the countless opportunities in the day to sing, dance, imagine, explore and play! Our program also uses place-based and play-based elements, emergent curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
Fridays, starting September 13th, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $1,560 members (payment plans available)
The new Forest School is a “drop-off” program for students aged 6-8 that meets on Fridays from 9am to 2pm from September 13th to June 6th. This program uses seasonal and emerging curriculum to meet each child’s innate desire to learn about the world. As a community of learners, we strive to create a place for an authentic discovery of one’s self, each other and the natural world.
