The greatest film of all time? Many think so. Certainly the most impressive debut: Orson Welles was 25 in 1941 when he wrote, directed, and starred in this film, loosely based on the life of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst (who tried to prevent its release). There's always more to notice in this multi-layered masterpiece. Film introduced and discussion led afterwards by Savoy Theater co-founder Rick Winston. Series runs on Second Saturdays from December through March.
