Reginald Rose’s classic drama “12 Angry Jurors” will be presented by Tuttle Middle School, in association with The First Light Theatre Project, on January 10 and 11, 2014 on the South Burlington High School stage.
The play is a gripping examination of twelve jurors as they deliberate on a seemingly open and shut murder case. As prejudices are tested and evidence weighed, the jurors are forced to look not just at the evidence, but at themselves. The final verdict and how it is reached is both tense and electrifying. The play was written in the 1950s but resonates closely with the issues of our day.
