Come join the conversation! This coming week speaker Roberta Benefiel from Labrador Land Protectors will be in Vermont as part of a Northeast Speaker Tour. Roberta will speak about the impact of Canadian mega dams on people and rivers, especially the Muskrat River dam, currently under construction. Damming of Muskrat river is anticipated to release massive amounts of toxic methyl mercury into the food chain in order to deliver “renewable energy” to points south.
