Announcing the Island's Annual Holiday Hop! The holiday spirit has taken over the Champlain Islands. Take a relaxing ride through the beautiful Islands and experience tranquil, no-hassle shopping. Find unique gifts and tasty foods to enhance your holidays while buying locally. Every town has planned events to help you with your shopping and put you in a cheery mood. We will have craft fairs, raffles, White Elephant Sales, bake sales, as well as Holiday Gift Boutiques with unique gifts and delicious food throughout the Islands. Start in the Senior Center in Alburgh for the Holiday Gift Boutique, and the library for a cookie walk. Continue on to Isle La Motte for their craft fair and then along Route 129 to Route 2 South to find treasures from over 100 vendors housed in small comfortable venues at the local churches, libraries and schools. Businesses will be gearing up for the holiday season with special sales and promotions. And dont forget the food. We will have everything from snacks to sustain you while shopping to lovely lunches and delicious food to take home so you dont have to cook after your long day.
