Make sure to plan to attend the first Champlain Island Christmas Parade which will kick off after the South Hero Tree Lighting ceremony at 5pm. Come see a parade of local businesses and other community members out to share their joy of the holiday season with YOU! The parade will travel briefly on Rt 2, turn onto South Street and proceed to Folsum school. Afterwards come to the Masonic Lodge for a hot delicious meal including your choice; Chili with Cornbread, Michigan's, Hot Dogs, Mac and Cheese, hot and cold drinks and desserts. Meal by donation, all monies raised to go to the UVM Children's Hospital. C'mon out, enjoy the start to the magical month of December and share an affordable fun filled local evening with friends and neighbors.
