The chorus, orchestra and soloists will perform Bach's Christmas Oratorio, a stunning celebration of Christmas and Christianity.

The Saturday performance is at the Wells River Church. If you can't attend Saturday, there are performances in Littleton on Friday at 7:30 and Peacham on Sunday at 4:00 PM. In Littleton there's parking at the Social Security building.

"Christians, be joyful, and praise your salvation." So begins J.S. Bach's exuberant first cantata in the Christmas Oratorio. Trumpets blare and timpani boom as the 75 voices of the North Country Chorus announce the celebration of Christs birth. "Break forth, O beauteous, heavenly light." In addition to the exuberant choruses, audience will enjoy reflective chorales, many familiar to the ear as popular hymn tunes, as well as arias, airs and recitatives from the soloists.
