Anima, Fyre and Lightning performances

Anima and Fyre and Lightning Consort will join to present Star of Heaven, a concert of Medieval and Renaissance music for early winter, on Saturday, Decmber 2, 7:00 pm, at the United Church of Cabot, and Sunday, December 3, 4:00 pm, at the Green Mountain Monastery in Greesnboro. The concert opens the season of Advent, when we look from the darkness toward the light, and honor the stars that guide us on the journey. From the soaring chants of Hildegard von Bingen and lively Medieval dances to the rich tapestries of Renaissance polyphony, the concert will offer a time for reflection and peace.
