The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive insect which has been destroying the Ash tree population in the Northeast. The insect has been found in all states surrounding VT. and is likely here but not yet detected. The insect will have a major impact on VT forests and will cost communities more money to clean up after, than to plan for ahead of time.
Town planners, selectmen, foresters, loggers, property owners, and Ash tree lovers are encouraged to attend this informational meeting about the insect. Learn what our communities can do to lessen the financial impact and to start planning for the impending arrival of the Emerald Ash Borer. January 7th, 7 pm at the Danville Town Hall.
