On December 2nd and 3rd Bella Voce Women's Chorus will make your holidays Merry & Bright with a festive concert featuring guest artists Metalwerx, a tuba and euphonium quartet.
This year, Bella Voce's annual Holiday Concerts move to a new venue and and new time:
Saturday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 3 at 3:00pm at the Recital Hall in the McCarthy Arts Center on Saint Michaels College Campus in Colchester.
You'll hear some of your favorite Christmas carols arranged exclusively for Bella Voce and tuba quartet, an arrangement of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" with a 4-hand piano accompaniment. Other favorites include "The Sussex Carol" and "Gabriel's Message"; a stunning setting of "O My Dear Heart," by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and so much more music old and new, from near and far.
The Tuba and Euphonium quartet will delight young and old with their solo repertoire, including seasonal favorites such as Greensleeves; "The March of the Tuba Toys" by Victor Herbert; and the Ukrainian Bell Carol - also known as Carol of the Bells - as well as a festive Fanfare.
