Robert and I will be hosting as many people as wish to come, at our house on Sunday, the 29th of December. The purpose is to show the film Gasland, or perhaps Gasland 2, if it arrives in time and is a bit shorter. The concern we have is Vermont Gas' plans for installation of a gas pipeline, and the many ramifications of this for us and for the environment here in Vermont.

Our purpose is to continue a very important conversation begun by our neighbors to the north of us, including Bethany Barry and Suki Fredericks, who will be present. We hope for an informal Q and A, and in general, we want to encourage the dissemination of information around this issue in order to shed light on what's going on.

Please feel free to invite friends--just let us know so we can prepare enough food. We will serve a very informal supper.
