Talk at Champlain College on War of 1812

Author-historian Willard Sterne Randall will give an illustrated talk, "The War of 1812 and the Champlain Valley," in the Presentation Room of Perry Hall at Champlain College, Maple and South Willard Streets at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The talk will focus on smuggling, the British invasion from Canada and the decisive naval battle of Lake Champlain. Professor Randall will sign copies of his new book, Unshackling America: How the War of 1812 Truly Ended the American Revolution. Free. ADA accessible. Limited parking in the Maple Street lot next door.
