The 10th anniversary of the annual Community Energy and Climate Action Conference is coming right up. Organized by the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network, the conference brings together representatives from Vermont’s 100+ town energy committees to learn and share knowledge about how to promote efficiency and renewable energy, and tackle climate change at the local level. The conference is scheduled:
When: Saturday, December 2, 2017 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (registration starts at 8 a.m.
Where: Lake Morey Resort – Fairlee, Vermont

Workshops will explore a wide range of topics, from Transforming Our Transportation System, Helping More Low-Income Earners Participate in the Clean Energy Transition, The Economic Opportunities of Climate Action and far more. Experts will also provide overviews on timely projects, policies, financial incentives and capacity building opportunities in Vermont.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be former EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. Gina served as the head of the EPA under President Obama from 2013 to 2017.
