Chess Club of Addison County (CCAC) will meet on every Wednesday in December, at Aurora Learning Center (formerly Aurora School), 238 Peterson Terrace, Middlebury. The afternoon session (3:15 to 6:00) is reserved for casual play, basic instruction, gentle coaching, and conversations. The evening session (6:30 to 8:30) features chess play under tournament rules, with gentle coaching available after each game ends.

On Wednesday, December 6, CCAC will be selling tournament chess sets at prices ranging from $8 to $32, depending on the quality and weight of the set. All proceeds from this sale of chess equipment will be given to The Aurora School, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that is the parent of Aurora Learning Center.
