Dinner, Music, Fun and More - WNRCD Annual Event

On December 6th, 2017 from 5:30pm till 8:00pm, the Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District is hosting its Annual Conservation Event. A night filled with live music, door-prizes, raffles, great food, and an engaging presentation on Salmon restoration within the Lake Champlain Watershed. Join us at the Richmond Congregational Church for a night of fun.

All are invited to listen to the music stylings of Luke Rackers as he entertains, visit displays on local conservation efforts that improve water quality, enter for one of the many door-prizes and raffle items donated by local businesses and listen to the engaging presentation by Nick Staats of the USF&W on Salmon Restoration efforts.

The night includes a yummy traditional chicken pie dinner with an apple dessert. The event costs $16.50 per person. RSVP's are required! The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District is one of 14 conservation districts throughout Vermont. It encompasses all of Chittenden and Washington County as well as parts of Orange County (Orange, Williamstown and Washington). The district relies on grants and individual donations to complete its conservation work. The WNRCD focuses its resources on completing conservation projects within the areas of agricultural assistance, forestland enhancement, urban conservation and watershed stewardship.
