The NEK Food Cycle Coalition wants to start a conversation with you about what we can do to stop the loss of edible food ... and redirect it to the people who need it. Join us on Tuesday, November 28th for a Special Screening followed by a Panel Discussion focused on local action!

Wasted! The Story of Food Waste is a feature-length documentary that will change how people buy, cook and eat food. Through the eyes of chef-heroes like Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how the world's most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps and rejects into incredible dishes that feed more people and create a more sustainable food system. Wasted! The Story of Food Waste showcases forward-thinking leaders who show how each of us can make small changes - all of them delicious - to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century.

The screening starts at 5:30 at Catamount Arts. The Panel Discussion will immediate follow in the Cabaret Room. Locally prepared refreshments will be provided by Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital.
