Message from Kris Pearsall, Mt. Abe Renovation Committee Chair:
On 11/2/17, the Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School District considered a $35 million Renovation Bond, which was defeated 1,261 No; 1,168 Yes.
On Wednesday, 11/15/17 the Mt. Abe Board held a Special Board Meeting to recall the Renovation Committee and charged them “to reexamine the proposed plan and make a recommendation for a reduced Bond amount to the ANESU Superintendent” Reen by 12/15/17. The Mt. Abe Board will meet on 12/19/17 to either (1) consider Superintendent Reen's recommendation, or (2) hear a request for an extension from the Renovation Committee.
All are invited to attend the first meeting of the recalled Renovation Committee on Monday 11/27/17 at 6 p.m. in the Mt. Abe Large Cafeteria.
