Free, Fun, and Truly Beautiful

Wake the Kids and Phone the Neighbors! We are very excited to announce that this year’s River of Light Lantern Parade will be taking place on Saturday December 2nd, 2017, from 5-6pm in Waterbury, VT.

Our theme this year is Ripples and Rhythms: Waves of Sound & Light.

Please feel free to bring your lanterns and join the parade or watch from the sidelines. I know there were amazing lanterns made by Berlin Elementary School students a few years back... Come on Berlin! Represent!

We will be leaving from Thatcher Brook Primary School on Stowe Street and we’ll be culminating with a fiery finale at Dac Rowe Park on Main Street; with bonfires, hot chocolate and fire dancers. (I mean Fire Dancers!!!! :) The parade will be joined by Sambatucada, Brass Balagan and the Crossett Brook Middle School Junk Band. We look forward to seeing you on the streets!

As always this is FREE TO ATTEND!

In the time of year when darkness hangs heavy over our days... come see the lantern parade. You will be very glad you did.
