Lucy's House for the Prevention of Homeless Pets will be hosting a fundraiser to support keeping pets in their homes. We are 100% volunteer. We currrently provide 18,000 pounds of pet food to food shelves that serve sixty-two towns in Vermont and keep 1200 pets a month in their homes. Due to the holidays and the winter months we need community support to help meet the need in the community. We provide 3,000 pounds to food shelves that serve the Essex community.

We are holding a silent auction at Essex Cinemas on November 17th from 5-8. We will also be making pet toys toys to give out to local food shelves this holiday season. We also will be having a pet food drive and donations of pet food and toys will be appreciated. We will showing a movie at 5:30 that is an animated pet related movie for a $5.00 admission charge and snacks are by donation.

Help us stuff a truck with pet food and support what we do. Without community support we will not be able to meet the need for the community this holiday season.
