Youth ages 8-12 are invited to join us this Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Vergennes Congregational Church to celebrate Animal Saints and Heroes!
In this special session we'll hear stories about inspiring people whose love for animals led them to change the world—from Dr. Jane Goodall, who worked with chimpanzees and now educates the world about caring for the earth, to Dr. Laurie Marker, who helps protect cheetahs in Africa. We’ll do some crafting for our local animal shelter, making braided dog chews and treats to make our canine friends a little happier while they are waiting for new homes. And we’ll play animal-themed games and eat tasty snacks. If you love animals, this is a group you won’t want to miss! Vergennes Congregational, 30 South Water Street
