Pies for People is back! We are seeking volunteers to help roll out pie crust at Sterling College for holiday pies for our neighbors. These pies go to clients of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, free community dinners, schools and nursing homes. A home made pumpkin pie is something everyone should be able to experience for Thanksgiving! Pies for People is a project of the Center for an Agricultural Economy, Hardwick Area Food Pantry, Sterling College, High Mowing Organic Seeds, Pete's Greens. Each year local businesses donate ingredients to make this happen - thank you to Buffalo Mountain Co-op, Craftsbury General Store, Stillmeadow Farm, King Arthur Flour, and Cabot Creamery Cooperative. And Positive Pie which donated pizza boxes for each pie. Sterling will provide dessert and coffee to anyone who volunteers! See you there!
